The Heart of Ordenada

Hi, I’m Louise Emerson — wife to Luke, mum of two amazing teenagers, and the founder of Ordenada Cleaning.

Why I started Ordenada

I started Ordenada in 2019. I couldn’t find a job that would fit around the children, and Luke was working, so I made one.

Why I only use eco products

I live with asthma and eczema myself. I discovered that bleachy supermarket products weren’t good to breathe in. They can damage surfaces too: Viakal, for example, can tarnish taps over time.

Eco-friendly cleaners mean you breathe better. A University of Bergen study found that people who used cleaning sprays for 20 years had lung function comparable to smoking 20 cigarettes a day for the same time. That’s why every Ordenada clean uses eco-friendly products as standard. You can read more on our Eco Promise page.

My team

Today I have four self-employed cleaners who help me.

What I’m proud of

I’m very proud of how far I’ve come. I’ve learnt a lot and done lots of training along the way. See our accreditations and training.

I love the difference a proper clean makes to someone’s home, and knowing I’ve helped them.

Outside work

I also volunteer at the LWS Night Shelter in Leamington Spa, a charity that supports homeless and vulnerable people. Anyone who is struggling can get a hot meal there.

Deep and spring cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning, holiday let changeovers, linen hire and commercial cleaning, across South Warwickshire and the north Cotswolds.
