At Ordenada Cleaning, we specialise in eco-friendly deep cleans and end-of-tenancy services. We believe in transparency and want you to know exactly what to expect before booking.

General FAQs

Q1. Do I need to provide cleaning products or equipment?
No – we bring everything with us. This includes eco-friendly products (we use Miml, a British-based brand) and professional-grade equipment such as hoovers, mops, and steam cleaners.

Q2. Are you fully insured?
Yes. We are fully insured for your peace of mind, and proof of coverage can be provided on request.

Q3. Are you DBS checked?
Yes. I hold a current DBS check, renewed through my voluntary work with Scouting.

Deep Cleaning & First Visit FAQs

Q4. Do you offer short visits?
No. Our focus is on deep cleans and end-of-tenancy cleans, which take several hours to complete properly. We don’t offer small refresh cleans or short hourly slots.

Q5. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept both cash and BACS transfers.

Q6. Do different flooring types require special care?
Yes. For example, oiled wood floors need specialist products like Bano, as general cleaners can cause damage. Please let us know if you have wooden, Karndean, or natural stone floors so we can use the correct eco-friendly products.

Q7. Do I need to be home during the clean?
Not at all. Many clients provide a key or access code, which we handle securely. If you prefer to be home, that’s absolutely fine too.

Q8. How do you handle key security?
Keys are stored securely and labelled in a way that does not identify your home. Confidentiality and security are a top priority.

Q9. What areas do you cover?
We cover Leamington Spa, Warwick, Kenilworth, Southam, Stratford-upon-Avon, and surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether we cover your location, just ask.

Q10. Do I need to pay an admin fee?
Yes. A £25 admin fee is charged at the time of booking to secure your date. This is a part-payment of your booking and is non-refundable, as it covers scheduling and preparation costs. The remaining balance is due on the day of your clean.

Q11. What if I need to reschedule or cancel my cleaning?
We understand things change. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. Late cancellations will result in the admin fee being retained.

Q12. Do you offer one-off deep cleans or just regular cleaning?
We specialise in one-off deep cleans and end-of-tenancy cleans. We no longer provide regular weekly or fortnightly cleaning slots.

Q13. What should I do before my cleaner arrives?
For best results, tidy away personal items, paperwork, or valuables. This means we can spend the whole time focusing on deep cleaning your home.

Q14. Do you clean pet-friendly homes?
Absolutely. We love our furry supervisors! We use safe, eco-friendly products to protect both pets and family. If your pet is anxious around new people, let us know beforehand.

Q15. Can I request specific cleaning products?
We bring our own approved eco-friendly products. Our insurance only covers us to use these, which ensures consistency, safety, and great results.
